ALVIVA GROUP announces the results of its milling division for 2025.
Despite overall market challenges, the Group’s key enterprise — KYIV MILL — demonstrated a production growth of 8% compared to the previous year. During the reporting period, the company processed over 105,000 tons of wheat and 14,000 tons of rye, while the total Ukrainian market volume stood at 1.1–1.3 million tons (according to State Statistics Service data).
“Key drivers of growth in the Group’s milling business were investments in upgrading and modernization of capacities. Over the past two years, a number of digital solutions have been integrated into the quality control system, and the roller mill fleet at KYIV MILL has been updated,” said Kostiantyn Ignatenko, CEO of KYIV MILL.
He added that the in-house analytical laboratory has become a guarantor of technological stability, providing a full cycle of bakery evaluation — from volume yield and porosity analysis to sensory testing of crumb and crust under real baking conditions. This minimizes risks both for Ukrainian partners and international clients.
In the retail segment, average monthly flour sales under the KYIV MILL brand reached 700 tons. In 2025, more than 2,000,000 packs of flour (2 kg packaging) were sold through national retail chains, along with 32,000 bags (50 kg) in the B2B segment.
Overall, B2B sales exceeded 83,000 tons of flour produced by KYIV MILL. The sales structure showed a balanced distribution: 66% supplied to Group companies for production under the KYIVKHLIB brand, 30% sold to external B2B partners, and 4% exported.
“ALVIVA GROUP is actively scaling its global presence. 2025 became a year of true expansion: export share increased, and geographic presence expanded to 34 countries. Understanding that success in foreign markets is impossible without technological advantage, in 2025 we invested over UAH 360 million in production modernization. This allows us to guarantee the highest quality and stable product characteristics — both for international partners and for every Ukrainian family. This is extremely important, as strengthening our position also strengthens Ukraine’s image by demonstrating high standards of a national manufacturer,” said Oleksandr Varavka.
