ALVIVA GROUP, a leading player in Ukraine’s food industry, took part in the international Gulfood 2026 exhibition in Dubai (UAE). This is one of the world’s largest food and beverage events, which this year brought together more than 6,500 exhibitors from 130 countries and over 80,000 professional visitors from the MENA region.
Within the exhibition, the Group presented for the second time its first proprietary export brand Alviva, an updated product line of the iconic KYIVKHLIB brand, as well as a wide assortment of sweets from Tarta. The main goal of participation was to expand export geography and establish contracts with major importers and retail chains in the MENA region (Middle East and North Africa).
Alviva: export brand presentation for the MENA market
Introduced in 2025, the Alviva brand is making its second appearance on the international stage.
Today, the brand portfolio includes 33 product types across 7 categories aligned with global trends. The assortment features three lines of toast bread (SUPER TOAST, BIG TOAST, and the special British Sandwich series), as well as croissants, gingerbread, cookies, waffles, breadsticks, and bagels.
Production of the brand’s products is concentrated across 8 facilities in Kyiv, Kyiv region, and Poltava region. All facilities are certified under international ISO and HACCP standards, ensuring high-quality raw materials and clean formulations without preservatives or GMOs.
Tarta: confectionery innovation and Ukrainian tradition
The Tarta brand showcased both classic sweets and modern soft confectionery products, developed in line with global trends toward reduced sugar content and the use of natural ingredients.

At Gulfood 2026, the tasting favorites from Tarta included:
Legendary “Condensed Milk Nuts” and “Condensed Milk Rolls,” as well as the crispy “Waffle Cake.”
Classic cakes such as Black Forest, Red Velvet, and Esterházy.
The “Legend of Kyiv” cake, which received special admiration from the international audience and became a true ambassador of Ukrainian confectionery tradition.
Thanks to Fresh Cake and Shock Freezing technologies, Tarta MCB products maintain their freshness for up to 12 days after defrosting, and some items even up to 25 days, without the use of chemical preservatives or antiseptics, while preserving their delicate texture and attractive appearance. This ensures consistently high quality and freshness for consumers worldwide.
KYIVKHLIB: updated line for the global market
At Gulfood 2026, the KYIVKHLIB brand presented a large-scale assortment update aimed at both traditional ethnic channels and the specific needs of the MENA market, including breads with extended shelf life.
The export line expansion covers several strategic directions. In the confectionery category, new products include crispy waffles, as well as hard and sugar cookies.

The bread assortment has been expanded with improved SUPER TOAST slices, premium sandwich lines Tiger, Butter, and Brioche under the ALVIVA GROUP sub-brand British Sandwich, as well as the innovative grain toast Big Toast Original Grano in a convenient XXL format. The snack category has been enriched with salted Bagolini crackers and crispy Stiketti sticks.
Focus on exports
For the third consecutive year, ALVIVA GROUP demonstrates steady positive dynamics, confirming the high competitiveness of Ukrainian products on the global market.
The company’s strategic focus on expansion ensured strong growth in 2025. In particular, export volumes of bakery products increased by 40% in physical terms, while long-shelf-life products grew by 34%.
The soft confectionery category of the Tarta brand showed strong growth: since 2021, supply volumes have increased almost eightfold, and over the past year export turnover in this segment grew by 61% in monetary terms. Today, MCB products account for 12% of the Group’s total export portfolio and continue to grow steadily.
By the end of 2025, the Group’s products were supplied to 34 countries worldwide, including new перспектив markets such as Turkey, the United Kingdom, Sweden, and North Macedonia. The company’s brands are already successfully present in major European retail chains such as Lidl, Kaufland, Żabka, RIMI, Maxima, Norfa, Linella, and others, while also actively expanding in Middle Eastern retail markets.
