ALVIVA GROUP, a leading player in Ukraine’s food industry, announces a significant expansion of its presence in the global soft confectionery market. Starting in August 2025, the Group begins exporting new lines of mousse-yogurt cakes and eclairs under the Tarta brand.
These product lines were developed with consideration of international market needs and comply with the latest trends in the soft confectionery category. In particular, the mousse-yogurt cake line is distinguished by an exceptionally low added sugar content — only 5%. Both lines also include products enriched with fruits and berries.
Exports of Tarta soft confectionery products began in 2021, and since the start of the full-scale invasion, volumes have increased nearly eightfold. Today, the Group exports all categories of soft confectionery products in both frozen and chilled formats. In the first half of 2025, the share of MCV exports in the Group’s total export structure reached 12% and continues to grow steadily. Overall, last year the Group exported over 3,000 tons of KYIV BREAD and Tarta products to 30 countries worldwide. Currently, Tarta products are exported to 18 countries, with the largest importers being Germany, Bulgaria, and Israel.
With this strategic step, ALVIVA GROUP responds to current global confectionery market trends, which show strong demand for products with reduced sugar content and natural ingredients. The introduction of Tarta product lines featuring fruits and berries and a low level of added sugar to international markets is our response to evolving consumer needs, and another important step toward the Group’s plans to significantly increase export volumes by expanding both geographic presence and export assortment.
The new line of Tarta mousse-yogurt cakes, which will soon be available in the EU and other international markets, includes three exquisite flavors: peach, black currant, and forest berries. The main advantage is a unique recipe combining a delicate sponge base, light yogurt mousse, and a fruit filling.
Thanks to the use of yogurt, the cakes have a lighter texture, a refreshing taste, and—most importantly—low caloric content. The added sugar content is only 5%, making them an ideal choice for those who pursue a healthy lifestyle without giving up sweets. This is a true fitness dessert—delicious, balanced, and wholesome.
The new Tarta eclair line includes four products, featuring two classic flavors — FRENCH and CREAM — as well as two unique new varieties: CARAMEL and RASPBERRY with raspberry-infused cream.

According to the Mintel Global Product Launch database, annual consumption of products labeled “sugar-free” or “reduced sugar” in Europe has increased by 13.4% over the past five years.
