ALVIVA GROUP summarizes 2024

Among the key achievements of ALVIVA GROUP in 2024 were more than UAH 1 billion paid in taxes and fees, UAH 400 million invested in production development, expansion into the agricultural sector, and the launch of the first nationwide advertising campaign in Ukraine’s bread category.

ALVIVA GROUP reported the performance results of the companies within the group for 2024. Despite the challenges of wartime, the group’s total turnover exceeded UAH 9 billion, while taxes and fees paid to state and local budgets surpassed UAH 1 billion.

Throughout the year, ALVIVA GROUP invested more than UAH 400 million into the development of production facilities and technologies. In particular, three new production lines were launched.

Overall, the group’s companies produced more than 120,000 tons of bakery and confectionery products during the year, while the milling division processed over 100,000 tons of grain.

Exports accounted for 3.4% of the total turnover of the group’s exporting companies. Products were exported to 30 countries worldwide.

With a land bank of 2,000 hectares, the group entered Ukraine’s agricultural market in 2024. In 2025, ALVIVA GROUP expects to harvest its first grain crops, while the projected turnover of the agricultural division is estimated at around UAH 154 million.

“Thanks to a unified strategic vision across the group’s companies and significant investments in team development and technologies, in 2024 we not only substantially increased our production capacity, but also launched a new business direction,” emphasized Олександр Варавка, CEO of ALVIVA GROUP. “Investments in agricultural production are an important step toward ensuring a full-cycle manufacturing process and quality control at every stage. At the same time, this direction will strengthen the group’s position in the domestic market and open new export opportunities.”

For 2025, ALVIVA GROUP plans to increase export volumes by expanding both export markets and its export assortment.

The primary consumers of the agricultural products will be companies within the group itself.

Products and brands

In 2024, ALVIVA GROUP carried out a rebranding of one of its oldest companies — КИЇВХЛІБ. The brand received a new design inspired by the shape of a postage stamp. In addition, KYIVKHLIB once again received the “Choice of the Year 2024” award in the “Bakery Producer of the Year” category.

Last year, the group also took its first steps toward implementing an ambitious goal — promoting the global culture of bakery and confectionery consumption in Ukraine. This journey began with two premium bread lines: the British Sandwich sandwich breads and the Scandinavian rye bread line Norden Brod.

In December 2024, the group initiated and launched the first large-scale nationwide advertising campaign in Ukraine’s bread category — “Norden Brod by KYIVKHLIB.”

Human capital

As of early 2025, the companies and enterprises within ALVIVA GROUP employed more than 6,000 people. During the past year, the group significantly increased investments in internal adaptation, training, and professional development programs.

As a result, 40% of employees completed professional training at the group’s production sites, while managers at all levels participated in dedicated leadership programs.

Social contribution and support for the Armed Forces of Ukraine

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, ALVIVA GROUP has continued supporting existing and developing new initiatives aimed at assisting vulnerable groups, including orphans, internally displaced persons, and people evacuated from combat zones, as well as supporting the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Since the start of the invasion, more than 3,000 tons of products from the group’s companies have been delivered and distributed among military units, orphanages, and communities of internally displaced persons. In addition, five blood donation campaigns titled “Donate Blood — Save a Defender’s Life” were organized among employees during the year.
