Beyond bread. KYIVKHLIB brand waffles, cookies and snacks will appear on the market

ALVIVA GROUP LAUNCHES A NEW PRODUCT CATEGORY UNDER KYIVKHLIB AND ENTERS NEW MARKET SEGMENTS

ALVIVA GROUP, a leading player in Ukraine’s food industry, announces the expansion of the KYIVKHLIB brand portfolio with a new product category — dry confectionery products (DCP).

The new category includes waffles, soft and sugar cookies, snack sticks, and rusks. In total, the brand portfolio has been expanded by around twenty new products, marking the most significant assortment expansion for KYIVKHLIB in recent years.

“Diversification and expansion of the brand portfolio are a key part of the Group’s strategy aimed at strengthening our position in both local and global markets. Products from the new category will be sold in Ukraine and exported,” says Ivan Lutsii, Head of Marketing for the DCP segment at ALVIVA GROUP. “The new products fully meet current consumer expectations in terms of quality and modern taste profiles.”

Production of the new category began in 2025 at the Group’s facilities in Kyiv. The total production capacity reaches 500 tons of products per month.


KYIVKHLIB DRY CONFECTIONERY ASSORTMENT

The KYIVKHLIB dry confectionery range includes more than 20 product names:

Waffles:

Crispy classic waffles with 75% rich filling in the flavors:

  • “TROPIC COCO” (coconut)
  • “CHOCO NUTS” (cocoa and hazelnuts)
  • “MILKY JOY” (milk)

Cookies: represented by both the long-lasting MARIA cookies (with whole grain flour and calcium) and the delicate TEA BISCUITS sugar cookies (creamy, creamy coconut, cocoa).

Gingerbread with filling: fragrant gingerbread in glaze with fruit and berry filling containing 20% ​​apple puree, with flavors of red currant, blueberry, cranberry, pear, as well as with the aroma of “DARK CHOCO” chocolate.

Classic Straws: An updated version of the classic sweet and fruity straws with the addition of applesauce.

Snacks: innovative gastronomic solutions such as Sticketti Straws and BAGOLINI Dry Snacks with snack flavors (fried onion, chili-tomato, salted caramel).

Products from the new category will soon appear in Ukrainian retail chains.

The launch of new categories has become possible thanks to investments in modernization, automation, and the commissioning of new production lines. The total investment across 8 Group facilities in Kyiv, Kyiv region, and Poltava region over 2024–2025 amounted to approximately UAH 400 million, significantly increasing production capacity.

Today, KYIVKHLIB is a leader in Ukraine’s bakery industry with a 13% market share. The brand’s average daily production of bakery products reaches 310–320 tons. KYIVKHLIB products are exported to more than 30 countries worldwide.
